• As a small Liberal Arts college, our size frees us to work across disciplinary lines to create an integrated curriculum, even while we maintain a high standard of training in specialized areas/majors.
• The faculty is committed to creating the framework through which students can hone their critical thinking, writing, and speaking abilities. All Core Curriculum classes are designed to provide students the opportunity to improve these crucial intellectual skills.
• We are a values-oriented learning institution that integrates ethical issues into the curriculum.
• We believe that, through engaging with the larger world, one will gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills to translate one's ethical values into action. Thus, we encourage our students to have internship experiences and develop leadership skills through co-curricular activities.
